http://www.ohloh.net/ doesn't seem to let you add other members as contacts, friends or neighbours !
even though it is very good at showing you other members who use a similar set of open source software !

We're still evolving our features. We're not really trying to replicate MySpace or LinkedIn - we're more focused trying to provide valuable services around open source software. However, as you point out, I think a "friends feature" would be a useful - so we'll likely get to it soon-ish.
