"Woolies" has been gone from Canada for years but I have very strong memories of going there as as child with my English Gran for tea and a sticky bun. When I lived in the UK I always seemed to find an excuse to pop in if only for something inconsequential. I can't justify economics for nostalgia but I certainly feel for those who are losing their jobs and/or another store on the High Street.
