According to the Star Trek Fan site memory-alpha the BBC was the first-run broadcaster of Star Trek (12 July 1969-15 December 1971) and TNG (26 September 1990-6 May 1992, up to "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II"). After 1992, the first-run rights of TNG – and later DS9 and Voyager – went to Sky One, with the BBC showing the episodes several months later.

unfortunately it has both Analogue and Digital tuners build in which
sets back my plans to throw away my tv by at least five years (since
i'm now commited to paying UK TV TAX @ £100/y forever or until i throw
it away) !
It also acts as the perfect 32" 1280x768 monitor

According to BBC News 24 the BBC have just won the rights to show the 2009 F1 season
I hope everyone watched the fantastic BBC Blakes 7 documentary last Christmas ! I must try and find a link to it !

The response from the Prime Minister's office said: "The BBC Trust made
it a condition of approval for the BBC's on-demand services that the
iPlayer is available to users of a range of operating systems, and has
given a commitment that it will ensure that the BBC meets this demand
as soon as possible. They will measure the BBC's progress on this every
six months and publish the findings."

radio channel Radio 4. It was broadcast on Friday 17th. August 2007 –

Imagine a classroom where ALL of your pupils are involved in the lesson
... where ALL of them are enthusiastic ... where you can interactively
assess how they are doing using tests, audience reaction and formative
assessments to help the teaching and learning process.
I think i prefer the BBC voting system where the audience wave light sabres in the air !
