Fill in the gaps in your flickr, del.icio.us, pownce, last.fm social media network mesh by just logging in to your MyBlogLog and goto your MyBlogLog Connector page http://www.mybloglog.com/user/connector

Connector helps you fill in the connection gaps with your friends across the services you use. If you're friends on MyBlogLog, you probably should be friends on the other services you use. This will help you do just that.

Click a green plus icon () below to connect to a friend at a service.

If you want to open all connections with a friend, click a green arrow icon () and multiple windows will open with your friend's profiles.

As oAuth becomes available, we will be able to make connections without opening a new window.

The space in which we live, breathe and enjoy our lives is our planet, and our expertise in technology is invaluable. We cannot afford to sit back and "remain aloof" with our focus on "open standards" whilst the rest of the world goes mad with PMB-driven greed around us, taking us with them.None of the existing models which are currently in prevalent use, world-wide, for sustaining human development and life, are going to make it.

In particular, none of them are suited to helping us take on PMBs; none of them provide us with a viable opportunity to take over from PMBs; none of them support us (with our integrity and our self-esteem intact) to help the average person... ... except for the "Social Business" concept.

Is there anyone on VOX owning / running / working for a Social Business ? And would you recommend it ?

I thought I was doing pretty well with ~1,700 flickr contacts but Robyn T has far surpassed me with her ~170,000 mybloglog friends ! OK so Robyn T works for Yahoo! but that's no excuse !

I've finally twigged how to use MyBlogLog ! Yahoo have done it again by buying the best Web 2.0 & Web 3.0 social media network aggregator I've seen yet !

Join MyBlogBlog
Add your blogs / sites / invisible wikki's etc, etc
Add the MyBlogBlog JavaScript to your blogs / sites
Authenticate your sites (by adding (& deleting !) a post or META tag)
Add your Social Media Networks and Business Media Networks (they integrate with almost all of them such as del.icio.us, upcoming, last.fm, flickr, youtube, pownce, jaiku, etc, etc)
Create a network of like minded social media networkers just like you would do on del.icio.us, flickr, last.fm or VOX
Enjoy a single portal to all your co - social media networkers blogs, posts, pownces, twits, etc, etc !
Finally send a feature request to MyBlogBlog asking them for VOX integration / support !

PS Please excuse all the excessive etc, etc's

Mahalo is a dynamic Web 3.0 search engine which is a search community created by and for "Social Media Network" and "Business Media Network"s members.

You can start today by installing and using the Mahalo Firefox AddOn which you can even configure it to dual / triple / quad post to del.icio.us (and many other social bookmarking sites) at the same time for full future-proofing your efforts !

PS Its currently in BETA and they could probably use some work on handling of singulars and plurals !

XING partners with IE8 beta 1 launch

M$ has announced the German launch of its new IE8 beta 1, and XING is among the initial launch partners.

The new Internet Explorer comes with two new great functions, “WebSlices” and “Activities”. Sections of the XING website are now available as Webslices (visitors to my profile, messages and contacts to confirm) and the XING keyword search is an “Activity” integrated into IE8 !
